Ruchir Khazanchi is an awarded composer, lyricist, music director, and actor originally from Omaha, Nebraska. His work as writing coordinator and composer for the 89th Waa-Mu Show: State of the Art was given the John Paynter Award for “Outstanding Creation of Music”. He has collaborated in various capacities with several new work organizations, including the American Music Theatre Project, The Waa-Mu Show, and the Agnes Nixon Playwrighting festival.
