who is ruchir khazanchi?

I’m Ruchir Khazanchi, and I am very happy that you’re here.

I am a New York based actor, musician, singer, and songwriter, but when I’m not doing that, I’m watching basketball, playing video games, or masquerading as a sous chef. I was raised in Omaha, Nebraska, for the first 18 years of my life before studying theatre, musical theatre, songwriting, and screen acting at Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois. I’m passionate about instilling fresh perspectives in film, television, and theatre. My goal for any work I do is to establish a safe, energetic community that allows for generative and healthy collaboration.

Some of my recent work includes the composition of an original musical premiering with Brooklyn Children’s Theatre, performing with the Lyric Opera of Chicago, and an entirely original concert performance at Davenport’s Piano bar.
